Paul C.H.E.K 15 THINGS THEY DON’T TELL YOU ABOUT THE C.H.E.K ACADEMY and INSTITUTE
THE MISSING C.H.E.K QUADRANT — STUDENTS PAID, NEVER RECEIVED. Students paid in advance for Level 1 and Level 2 of the C.H.E.K Quadrant. Level 1 was delivered. Level 2 was never released — and the money was never offered back. People paid in full… and received nothing in return. No explanation. No refund. Just silence.
CHARGED TWICE FOR THE SAME COURSE — HLC. A serving police sergeant and others on the Holistic Lifestyle Coaching course had already paid in full. Halfway through, they were told Paul wanted changes — and they were charged all over again. Same course. Same students. Two payments. No refund offered.
PUBLIC CONDUCT — WITNESSED FIRSTHAND BY ME. When I booked the founder for one-to-one coaching in San Diego, I witnessed him urinating in front of me in his own garden instead of using the toilet. This is the same person who presents himself as a spiritual leader, health authority, and role model. On one occasion, I saw Paul and Angie doing a live video at 2:00 AM San Diego time — going directly against the circadian rhythm rules taught in his own published work. Rules for everyone else — not for them.
REFUND POLICY — AGAINST UK CONSUMER LAW. The Institute states a 14-day return policy only for physical items in original packaging. For digital products, PDFs, or courses watched for more than one hour — they claim NO refund at all. This directly conflicts with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations, which provide clear statutory rights for digital content regardless of download or viewing time. Worse: there is no stated support system for neurodiverse learners or people with learning difficulties. You teach “holistic health” — but exclude the very people who need extra understanding most. That’s not holistic. That’s exclusion.
The Fake Solicitor Letter, SRA Investigation & Full Evidence Chek Europe & C.H.E.K Institute
MEMORY, SUBSTANCE, AND CONSISTENCY. The founder admits to using cannabis and tobacco — yet presents himself as a peak-performance health authority. In multiple videos, he forgets names, dates, and key details. If you can’t remember what you said yesterday — how can you guide people for a lifetime?
DO AS I SAY — NOT AS I DO. Consistent sleep and circadian alignment are taught as foundational to health. Yet on one occasion, a live video was broadcast at 2:00 AM San Diego time — going directly against what he teaches. If your own rules don’t apply to you — why are they mandatory for your students?
“ONLY MULTIVITAMINS” — UNTIL IT’S TIME TO SELL. In one video it was stated clearly: “You only need a high-quality multivitamin — not multiple supplements.” Today? Multiple videos promote and sell… multiple supplements. When your advice changes to match your product catalogue — that’s not education. That’s a sales pitch disguised as advice.
QUALIFICATIONS NO ONE RECOGNISES. CHEK qualifications are not accredited by any government body or mainstream fitness industry organisation. That means outside the C.H.E.K community — your Level 1–5 is essentially unrecognised. Students invest years and thousands of pounds — only to find the wider industry doesn’t acknowledge their certification.
LICENCE TO PAY — BENEFITS UNCLEAR. Practitioners pay annual licensing fees. They say they’ll put you on the practitioner directory — but it’s never clearly stated whether that’s included or an extra benefit. The details are vague. What is clear: 99% of practitioners report getting zero new clients or enquiries from it. It doesn’t get you hired. It doesn’t get you insured. It just costs you money — every single year — with very little clarity on exactly what you’re paying for.
C.H.E.K CONNECT — DOWN, SILENT, AND USELESS. The practitioner directory platform was offline for over a month. No explanation. No update. When it does work? 99% of practitioners report getting zero new clients or enquiries from it. Yet they still pay to be licensed. And claims of clairvoyance and remote viewing are made — with zero evidence, zero verification, zero proof.
PRICES GO UP — BUT WHAT IMPROVES? The CHEK Academy subscription price has been raised twice in one year. No new major features, no expanded course library, no extra support — just two price increases. When costs go up but value stays the same, that’s not growth — that’s inflation without improvement.
TEACHING BUSINESS — BUT WHAT’S HIS TRACK RECORD? A business course is being sold by someone whose own building consultancy firm went bankrupt. C.H.E.K Europe was dissolved in 2020 — then started up again under the same name, offering the same services. This is known as phoenixing — closing one company to leave debts behind, then reopening the same business. If his own business model couldn’t survive — why pay to learn from it?
FREE LABOUR — COURSES AND TRINKETS INSTEAD OF WAGES. Staff and practitioners are asked to work for free. In return, they may receive a free course, a book, a pen, or a signed card at the end of the year. Your labour has value — a pen and a card don’t pay the bills. Asking people to work without proper pay isn’t an opportunity — it’s asking them to subsidise the business with their own time and effort.
12–17 HOUR DAYS — GOING AGAINST EVERYTHING THEY TEACH. A faculty member reported working 12 to 14, sometimes even 17 hour days in Lancashire designing and presenting new programs. These hours go directly against the sleep, rest, and circadian rhythm principles that are the foundation of CHEK teachings. If the people creating and teaching the courses can’t follow the rules themselves — what does that say about the advice they’re giving you?
MASSIVELY OVERPRICED PRODUCTS — THE £375 CALIPER. The CHEK Institute sells a forward head posture caliper for £375. You can buy a widely used, physio-recognised forward head caliper for around £20. Same purpose. Same function. One costs nearly 19 times more. When you’re paying for a brand name instead of better quality — that’s not value, that’s a markup.
THE BOTTOM LINE: I don’t need you to believe me. Just look at the pattern: Money taken → work not delivered → refund never offered. Public standards → privately ignored. Qualifications sold → nowhere recognised. Promises made → platform doesn’t deliver. Prices rise → but value doesn’t. Teaching business → but his own track record doesn’t add up. Your labour → exchanged for gifts instead of wages. Their own staff → overworked against their own health principles. Products → marked up far beyond market value. You don’t have to take my word for it. But don’t be surprised when what I’m saying matches what you’re already seeing for yourself.
