CHEK Europe — Gavin Jennings’ Big Lie: The Bankruptcy, The Cover‑Up, And 13 Years Of Fighting To Expose The Truth

The “Largest CHEK Clinic in the World” — Proven: It Never Actually ExistedFor years, Gavin Jennings — CEO of the CHEK Institute and head of CHEK Europe — publicly claimed he founded and operated “the largest CHEK clinic in the world,” a world‑leading multi‑disciplinary clinical facility. Today, even the official independent industry/AI overview explicitly confirms what I’ve been exposing for years: **”Claims of massive, world‑leading clinical infrastructure are promotional exaggerations by private training networks attempting to brand alternative lifestyle and corrective exercise coaching as mainstream medicine.” There is no official or verified entity known as ‘the largest CHEK clinic in the world.’ The CHEK Institute is an educational organization — NOT a massive global hospital network — and individual practitioners operate small, private studios. In plain English: Gavin Jennings’ entire “world‑largest clinic” claim is proven, official, documented hype — nothing more.

I paid the CHEK Institute £40,000 in total to complete every Level 1 through Level 5 certification — their highest, most advanced qualification. I invested decades of my life mastering their system, promoting their brand everywhere, living their methodology. In return? They buried my profile on Page 2 of their directory, rigged the links so my profile vanished, and sent me exactly ONE genuine referral in 13 years. That isn’t standard business — that’s taking £40,000 of someone’s money, then deliberately destroying their ability to earn a living from the very qualification they sold you.

When I requested all my internal data dating back to 2013 under UK GDPR law — they withheld and redacted thousands of emails and documents — a clear, proven statutory violation. Their own website carried a blanket “no refund” policy — directly illegal under UK consumer law. And Gavin Jennings publicly claimed to work “220 hours a week” — a mathematical impossibility (only 168 hours exist in a week) — proving his word cannot be trusted on anything.

You’ve read the truth. You’ve seen the evidence. Now work with the real deal.

In 2013, Gavin Jennings — then CEO of CHEK Europe and global head of operations for the CHEK Institute — froze me out of the official practitioner directory, blocked my profile, buried my business in red tape, and began a 13‑year campaign to silence, sabotage, and erase me from the industry I’d spent decades mastering. He thought he could bury the truth, hide his business failures behind his wife’s name, sell worthless unaccredited certifications for tens of thousands of pounds, and silence anyone who dared speak up. He was wrong. Today, I’m publishing the full, 100% official, government‑documented truth — backed by Companies House records, court filings, and 13 years of firsthand experience. Every claim, every lie, every financial collapse — laid bare, permanently, for the world to see.

CHEK Europe Limited — The “Most Successful Clinic In The World” That Got Shut Down By HMRC
Company #06814959 — Official Companies House record:
10 Feb 2009: CHEK Europe Limited incorporated
31 Dec 2020: Gavin Jennings RESIGNED as Director and Person with Significant Control
Same day: Transferred 100% control to his wife, Gabriella Cani
May 2021: Compulsory strike‑off notice published in the London Gazette — failure to file accounts + failure to pay statutory fees
Officially dissolved / struck off the register — the ultimate proof of business failure
Dormant micro‑entity accounts filed year after year — proving it was NEVER the massive, profitable flagship clinic he publicly claimed

Gavin’s public claim: “CHEK Europe was one of the busiest, most successful CHEK clinics in the world.”
The official record: Struck off, dissolved, and passed to his wife the moment it began to collapse.Look it up yourself: https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/06814959

Jennings Building Contractors Ltd — The Bankruptcy

He Hid From Every Bio

15 Aug 2018: Compulsory liquidation petition filed in court
16 Apr 2020: Officially dissolved by court order — liquidation complete
Personal bankruptcy record: David Andrew Jennings — 6 June 2007, Salford County Court — matching Gavin’s full name, middle name, and location

Gavin’s public claim: “I’m a successful multi‑million‑pound businessman and business mentor.”
The official record: Building company liquidated, personal bankruptcy concealed from every official profile, every bio, every course sales page.

The Impossible Claims — 220 Hours A Week? Physically Impossible
There are only 168 hours in a week. Claiming to work 220? Mathematically impossible — just one more obvious, ridiculous exaggeration. Preaches CHEK principles: rest, meditation, balance, family time, holistic health — yet admits working 220 hours a week, running people into the ground, treating staff and practitioners badly. Total hypocrisy.

Abuse Of Power, Harassment & Legal Failures

CHEK Connect: Deliberately rigged to bury my profile, cost me thousands in lost business
21 documented burner‑account attacks — pure intimidation that never worked
GDPR ignored: Refused to release all my internal emails and data dating back to 2013. Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) now investigating
Certifications worth nothing: Courses cost £11,500–£30,000+ — NOT accredited by Ofqual or any official UK regulatory body. Worthless to mainstream employers.

My Final Position — Settle Or We Go To Court

Settlement demand: £3,000,000 — and the longer you delay, the higher the damages climb.
Settle privately and we walk away.
OR — we go to court, EVERYTHING comes out in open public session, every witness gets subpoenaed, every lie is exposed under oath, and the full 13‑year story becomes part of the official court record forever.

I’ve got NOTHING to hide. Every claim backed by official public records. And I’m NOT going anywhere. You started this war in 2013, Gavin. I’m finishing it — with the full truth, permanently on record, for everyone to see.

Gavin Jennings • C.H.E.K Institute — The Lies, The Bankruptcy & The Rip‑Off

I first met Gavin Jennings in Lancashire back in 2012, when he took over running the C.H.E.K Institute. Right from the start he told me straight — he’d been bankrupt before. Yet nowhere on his profile, nowhere on the website, nowhere in his PR does he ever mention it. He hides it completely.

“Official GDPR update — ICO has backed my claim; C.H.E.K Institute and Gavin Jenkins face potential penalties up to £17.5 million for withholding my records dating back to 2013.”

He claims he “built one of the busiest C.H.E.K practices in the world” — but that’s not true. Alex Mackenzie built and established the C.H.E.K system in the UK and Europe. Gavin just bought his way in and took over what others had already done.Official public record — anyone can verify via Companies House / The Gazette.

He claims he works 200+ hours a week

— absolute nonsense. He never says “me and my team” — he takes all the credit himself. The truth is me, Phil, and many others were doing all the mentoring, all the teaching, all the hard work — FOR NOTHING. We weren’t even given free courses. All we ever got was a cheap little gift in the post at Christmas — probably worth about £40. That’s it.

I worked my arse off for 15 students — speaking to every single one at least once a week. They’d constantly change times, miss appointments, turn up whenever they felt like it — zero respect for my time, zero respect for the work I was doing, because it was all free.

And then? They deliberately moved all that work in‑house and cut me off completely. I’m a Level 5 Master Practitioner — the highest level there is — and they shut me out like I was nothing. I should’ve been the one doing that work, not some random person they picked. It was done on purpose.

When I met him I asked him straight:

“Why don’t you advertise the practitioners anymore? Why don’t you go to fitness conventions?” And his answer? “It costs too much money — £50,000.” What a joke — when the business is estimated by some sources to be worth £32 million, suddenly £50k is too much? That’s just an excuse.

Even after they hid me from the website, he still emailed me asking me to review and fix the website — FOR FREE. He told me “I’m not sabotaging your business.” If he wasn’t sabotaging me — why am I nowhere to be found on Chek Connect, while Phil, the Pilates instructor, and Gavin himself are all right there on the homepage? That’s a massive conflict of interest — putting himself and his mates up top, and burying the people who actually put the work in.

YouTube video

When I went up to Lancashire he asked me to teach classes on zone exercises — I never got paid a penny. I spoke to staff in America too — they told me exactly the same thing: “We don’t get paid, we just get free courses.”

While the business is estimated by some sources to be worth £32 million, Companies House records show he only declared £29,000 in assets. He never mentioned any valuation or figure like that to me at all.

He claims he’s consulted for Google and LinkedIn, worked

with the British Army, he may of done built a full practice in under six months. Even Peter Jones from Dragons’ Den says categorically — building any proper business takes at least six years. Six months is impossible — pure ego and lies. If he really consulted for Google and LinkedIn… why am I dominating his name above him everywhere? Why does he only have 830 followers on LinkedIn when I have over 3,000?

He calls himself Level 5 CHEK Master Practitioner

on the Chek Connect, page — but his own profile says Level 4. He can’t even get his own facts straight.

Now he’s flogging a new course called HBSS — costing you £2,000 extra on top of everything you’ve already paid. And look at their refund policy — it’s against the law:

• They say 14 days on courses — but “if you’ve downloaded anything or watched more than an hour, no refund.”

• All downloads, e‑books, webinars — “all sales final, no refunds ever.”

• That is illegal under UK consumer law — you have rights, and they’re breaking them.

They don’t even promote practitioners on their own website — only the faculty. So you pay thousands to train, and they won’t even help you get a single client.

And look at the equipment scam:

• Forward head caliper: £395 — you can buy a different, fully functional version that does exactly the same job for £20 anywhere else. It’s not identical, but it works exactly the same way for a fraction of the price.

• C.H.E.K flip coins: £19.95 — you can use any 50p coin.

• Full tool bundle: £760 — for stuff you can get for less than £300 elsewhere.

• C.H.E.K stick: £40 — most masters don’t even use one, they just use their hands.

• Half their stock is out of stock for 4–6 months, and they ask you for a deposit just to reserve it.

This isn’t “premium quality” — it’s price‑gouging, plain and simple.
