The first gym Nuffield Health Scott was a member for over seven years. He cancelled his membership because the gym was starting to get very dirty and very packed at certain times. The equipment was old and sometimes didn’t work.
Personal trainers are cleaners
Pure Clapham Clapham Common Scott decided to get a guest pass and give it a try Out As soon as he walked in, he was pounce upon by a cleaner \ They’re asking repetitive times if he was interested in Personal Training When all he wanted to do was have a workout with him being a Personal Trainer himself He found it quite annoying. Parts of the gym were a bit of a mess with gym equipment Everywhere loads of plates and dumbbells not put away Scott decided to have his workout but his phone died so he forgot his password to get out of the building. There was nobody around to ask and there was no button to press to get out of the doors. Scott thought this was a huge fire risk and the member of staff started to be rude, why didn’t you remember your number? Well cause I have dyslexia and I’m not good at remembering numbers and I didn’t think my phone would die, but why don’t you have a button to press to get out of the building instead of using a code? If there was a fire people would be in a panic and would not remember their codes So Scott was really upset with gym and never went back again.
Scott decided to give I try he joined as a member in changing room was okay but so ram together that if you’re a big guy you bump into everyone and a busy times it was hard to get a locker. Scott Sue noticed that the equipment was damaged and mirrors were broken for weeks on end. One time Scott was in the steam and it was spitting on the floor screaming and shouting And urinating in the steam room, this really infuriates Scott was paying a huge membership for month To have broken machines, broken mirrors and the gym that had really no atmosphere So he cancelled his membership and left never to go back
to much noise and rude staff
The next gym that Scott tried was the old Fitness first clapham Junction That Scott worked as as a personal trainer over 23 years ago found the gym to be quite old dirty and they still have the same equipment from over 22 years ago Did you alert quite old holes in certain parts of the floor broken equipment, broken mirrors? Just like Virgin Active The care and compassion had gone out of the gym many times when Scott tried to train the music was so loud that he couldn’t even hear his own music on noise reduction headphones The gym had no atmosphere people wasn’t really friendly at all So it’s got decided to cancel His membership
management he would give zero review
Scott travels backwards and forwards to seeing Personal Training Clients In Putney He thought he would check out the Jets gym They just recently opened up in Wandsworth The manager was saying how the gym had heated floors in the shower areas all Scott wanted to say did they have Swiss balls? Could you train there and have a good workout? When you asked about the Swiss balls, the gym manager had no idea About Swiss balls with six years of experience as a personal trainer Scott asked if the gym was going to get any Swiss balls cause Scott warms up with them stretches and mobilise his body and works out with them The gym manager said he would never let anybody train with weights on a Swiss ball Scott mentioned to the manager that Paul Chek That changed the fitness industry in many ways was responsible for putting Swiss balls in gyms for people To work out functionally with But the manager was either playing dumb Who was just being completely rude? Which was very disappointing for Scott because if he would’ve had the correct equipment Scott would have joined the Jim and be a member for years like he wasn’t Nuffield Health for over seven So Scott would get this gym an 8 out of 10 review But the management he would give zero review to because of arrogance and ignorance by the Gym Owner or manager
Any time Fitness is just opening up in Clapham Junction Is positioned in the old Fitness firs Where Scott used to work for over two years Scott was very impressed with the gym huge amounts of equipment and huge amounts of space Private Cubicles and showers To get changed and shower after your workout They looked very nice But in peak times If they’re all used, people won’t be able to shower or get changed And they’re totally unisex So no privacy for men and women Which may be a big letdown for many member And no sauna or steam but Massage bits massage guns to help with your Dom is after your workout This is a very big impressive Jim all clean and new But they had no off-peak membership all they had was 12 months six months Or pay upfront for a year The only thing with many gyms when they first open they look very impressive and very But staff can become lazy and things to be fixed takes a lot of time But the great thing is with this gym being so large There was always there will always be enough equipment To go around To never get frustrated in your workout because of your bit of kit is not working or broken The only downside is is that they only had 55 cm of Swiss balls if you’re under 5 foot five height They’ll be great, but if you’re 511 and taller They are too small To work out with it should be 65 to 75 cm balls for people that are taller than 511 So because there was no offbeat membership and Scott doesn’t know how good the gym will be in a couple of months once they’ve got regular In and out of the building And with there be no off-peak membership because Scott works at Peak times with his clients So I need an off-peak membership Which is a real shame because if there was Scott would’ve joined there and then So that Scott’s review of the gyms in Battersea and Clapton Junction
